Group Therapy

These groups are offered on Monday evenings from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and are appropriate for a step down form of treatment from Partial or IOP. Group therapy provides a safe environment for the individual to process their successes as well as struggles with the recovery process. This is an ongoing group process and individuals can enter at any time and remain until they are feeling strong enough to cope with their lives in healthy manners.

Nutrition Counseling

Nutrition counseling is available to all levels of treatment for recovery from eating disorders. Nutrition and meal planning are intricate parts of the IOP and Partial Levels of Care. Individual nutrition counseling is available with scheduled appointments.

After Care Groups

These groups are offered throughout the week and are appropriate for a step down form of treatment from Partial or IOP. Groups provide a safe environment for the individual to process their successes as well as struggles with the recovery process. This is an ongoing group process and individuals can enter at any time and remain until they are feeling strong enough to cope with their lives in healthy manners.

Eating Disorder/Life Coaching

This is an innovative manner to receive individual or small group care with one of our trained staff. These staff members help prepare individuals for real-life circumstances and are high experienced with goal setting and problem intervention. The purpose is to assist clients develop plans, strategies, use of coping skills and structure to ensure successes.

Eating Disorder Family Education & Support Group

This is a group designed specifically for family members, friends, or concerned others of those suffering from eating disorders. This group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month from 6:00 pm till 7 pm. This group is open to the public and only requests that those attending make a donation. Often recovered individuals or their family members are guest speakers for this group. This group is monitored by one of our dietitians and a counselor who have significant experience with the treatment of eating disorders.

Eating Disorder COUPLE & FAMILY COUNSELING

This type of counseling is available by appointment and is part of the IOP and Partial Programs as needed. It is also offered through appointments for individuals requesting this type of counseling.

Individual Counseling:

Individual counseling is part of our Intense Partial, Partial, and Intensive Outpatient Programs. It is also offered through appointments for individuals requesting this type of counseling.

This option of support is unique and exclusive to the Eating Disorder Recovery Center. This is a monitored forum where difficult and good times can be shared with others working on the recovery process. Patients find this tool enormously helpful, encouraging, supportive, and a positive connection with others who are taking some of the same steps on the path to recovery. Our staff and coaches monitor the forum throughout each day and intervene if deemed helpful.

Eating Disorder Support Groups

These groups are monitored by EDRC staff and meet bi monthly. There is a $10 charge for attendance in these groups. The groups are open to the public however, reservations must be made by calling the facility. Please call 866.706.7111 for reservations.
